Job Title: Solution Architect Cum DC Specialist (DC, DR)

Department: 108 Emergency Response Services

Experience Required: 10 years of experience in data center solution having hands on experience in implementing solutions for a for at least 1 project involving emergency response centres or similar projects

Education: B. Tech / B.E./ MCA

Role Summary:

A "Solutions Architect cum. DC Specialist" role combines the responsibilities of a Solutions Architect, focusing on designing and implementing technology solutions, with the expertise of a Data Centre Specialist, specializing in the physical infrastructure and resources needed to support those solutions. This individual would be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into technical designs, and ensuring the solutions are implemented and managed in a data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Good experience & understanding of IT infrastructure and data center technologies as well as following practices

·Servers (Dell is preferred)

·Storage (Dell EMC is preferred)

·Third Party Management

·Windows Active directory

·Unix/Linux operating systems

·Networking awareness

·Virtualization Vm Ware, Microsoft Hyper V etc

·Exposure to: High availability (HA), Disaster recovery (DR) & BCP best practices and concepts

·Experience in ITIL best practices

·Familiarity with Change control & release management People Management.

·Ability to lead small technical teams

·Good problem identification and resolution abilities

·Having hands-on experience in practical implementation.

·Designs, manages, and optimizes data center infrastructure, including hardware, networking, storage, and virtualization.

·Monitors and optimizes data center performance, including resource utilization, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.

·Leads or participates in the integration of new technologies into existing data center infrastructure, including cloud migration projects.

·Performing infrastructure design, strategy, and services and participating in the implementation of computer system, network, storage, and security infrastructure

·Providing technical analysis, integration expertise, and critical data analysis related to system architecture in alignment with overall data center strategy

·Maintaining a functional relationship with multi-disciplinary teams to support overall resource efficiency
