Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician-Grade  - 108

Department: 108 Emergency Response Services

Experience Required: 0-5 years

Education: BSc Nursing, GNM, BSc MLT, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Life Science.


Role Summary:

  We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide high-quality pre-hospital care and transportation for patients in emergency situations. EMTs will play a vital frontline role in responding to calls, delivering timely medical care, and maintaining readiness of emergency response vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Attend to the emergency calls assigned by the EROs.

2)Provide prompt Pre hospital care (on-scene and en-route) to the victim or patient while transporting the patient to nearest / appropriate hospital.

3)Conferencing with Emergency Response Centre Physician for taking medical directions in critical cases.

4)Ensuring proper handing over of the patient at the hospital.

5)Maintenance and updating the PCR form: recording requisite patient information / vitals, details treatment / medicines used, and a copy dispatched as per directions.

6)Demonstrating ambulance to enhance the awareness.

7)Actively participate to assist community and local authorities during disasters and epidemics.

8)To strengthen the relations interface with the Local Private and Public hospitals.

9)All EMTs should undergo in the refresher Training and on job training organized by the company.

10)To maintain prescribed records & adhere to SOPs and checklists.

11)Upkeep of medical equipment & inventory maintenance.

12)To maintain highest ethical standards and professional integrity while ensuring prompt pre-hospital care.

13)Keep always ambulance clean and hygienic

14)Should update & Reorder the drugs and consumables as and when required.

15)Responsible for all the medical and IT Equipment

16)Any individual who refuses to participate, absents themselves without valid reason, or fails to comply with daily responsibilities will face disciplinary     action. Such individuals may also be suspended, and an internal investigation will be initiated.

17)Any person found damaging or tampering with equipment, including IT equipment, will be held financially responsible for the cost of replacing the damaged items. A first violation will result in a Level 1 warning, while repeated offenses may lead to termination of employment.

18)    Misbehavior towards patients or their attendants will result in a Level 1 warning. Any repeat offense will lead to immediate termination of service.

19)    Any misconduct or harm directed towards female staff or colleagues will result in immediate suspension pending an enquiry. If the individual is found guilty, they will be terminated from service.

20)    Any employee participating in union activities will face immediate termination of employment

21)    Ethics , Malpractices miss behaviour may result in  terminate

22)To be available 24/7 as & when required.
